I am 19 years of age and I am Attending The Instiute of Technology Carlow(Ireland). I live in Graiguenamanagh Co. Kilkenny. I have spent the last 19 years in this Town of population of approx. 2000 people. It has 14 Pubs and a few small shops and a "Super Valu". The main attraction in the town would be its boating and swimming facilities. There is under construction a Boat house with facilities such as showers and changing rooms and Badly needed Toilet Facilities. The building was hoped to be completed by The August bank holiday weekend 1999 but due to delays will not be ready till summer 2000.

There are 3 Restaurants and a hotel in this town, One of Which is the "Water Side" hotel which is a refurbished corn mill. Also in the town There is An Age old Abbey click here to view Details . I am in first year doing a computing Course, Networking and Optical Communications. Year 1 in this course provides a broad range of foundation courses, Programming C, C++ and assembly, Data Communications, Operating Systems such as, Novell, Windows NT, Linux, Maths and electronics. These are expanded upon in Year two, Visual Basic& C, Novell Netware, Networking and Network Management, Photonics and Opticial Communications, Maths and A Project. The course involves a good amount of practical work.
